HyperDrive: A Simple Solution to Add Ports to New MacBooks Pro

, it seems that we can not escape the adapters in this new "Apple era". Those who are very happy about this are probably the designers / engineers who are venturing into Kickstarter, creating increasingly different solutions (or not so much, but useful enough).

One of these creations is HyperDrive, whose premise is to rid users of new MacBooks Pro from so many * expensive * adapters "hanging" on their computer.

By connecting to both Thunderbolt 3 outputs, HyperDrive allows devices with multiple inputs to be connected to it (making it what it was meant to be forever). The available ports are: one HDMI with 4K (30Hz) video support, one Thunderbolt 3, one USB-C, one SD and one microSD card slot, and two USB 3.1.

As pointed out by 9to5Mac Commenting on the device, it does not compromise the laptop's charging speed at all, being able to release up to 100W, which is enough to recharge a 13 inch MBP (requires 61W) and also the 15 inch model (87W).

The project has already exceeded the $ 100,000 goal, raising more than $ 233,000 with 2,711 contributors. It is still available until January 17, 2017 and you can have a silver or space gray HyperDrive contributing to Kickstarter starting at $ 69 (plus $ 10 shipping to Brazil).
