Huawei P40 will be officially unveiled on March 26

Huawei will present its new flagships in the next month of March. After presenting yesterday in Barcelona a new tablet, notebooks and the foldable Mate Xs, the Chinese technology company will organize an event to unveil the new P40 range, in Paris, on March 26.

Unlike previous versions, these new smartphones will not have access to Google services (including the Play Store), since the White House has banned US companies from doing business with Huawei. Google has already advised against downloading its software to these terminals, as it would have to be done through unofficial channels.

These new P40s should integrate 120Hz displays, photographic modules with three rear cameras, in the case of the standard version, and five cameras, in the case of the P40 Pro. Despite the ban, the equipment will still have Android 10 in the base version and is already known skin, EMUI.

The leaks indicate that these phones will hit the market in six different colors, one being water green.

The P40s must also have a USB-C port and a curved screen with two front cameras in the upper left corner. There will be no headphone jack and the rest of the details will be revealed by Huawei itself in just over a month.

Note that this is not the first time the brand has chosen the French capital to present its smartphones, so the plan is not an alternative to canceling the Mobile World Congress. Richard Yu, Huawei's CEO, has already whetted the guests' appetite, claiming that this is "the world's most powerful smartphone with 5G support".
