HTC plans 3 more Google Phones by the end of the year

According to the BizJournals, HTC plans to add three more smartphones with the Android mobile operating system to the market by the end of the year, said Peter Chou, the company's CEO in Taiwan.

Chou, who celebrates the sale of more than 1 million units of the first version of the Google G1, reports that the second generation of smartphones developed with Google should reach the market in the second quarter.

"The three new Google phones are part of a plan to launch 20 new smartphone models from HTC this year," he concluded.
