HP announced three new notebooks. The company had already secured its debut in the mini-notebook segment. Now it reinforces the line with new models, which combine low price with small dimensions: The HP Compaq Mini 700 and the HP Mini 1000, in normal version and Vivienne Tam.
The HP Mini 700 is aimed at users looking for a second, lighter laptop with a basic set of features. The new Mini has a built-in webcam and microphone, a 10.2-inch BrightView screen and a keyboard that HP guarantees to be one of the most generous in the segment. In terms of connectivity the equipment supports WLAN, bluetooh and WWAN.
The HP Mini 1000 is available in two versions, including a special version Vivienne Tam Special, created with those in mind who follow fashion trends, a segment that electronics manufacturers are increasingly blinking at. With 1.1 kilograms and a 10.1-inch BrightView Infinity screen, this special edition comes with a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and 60 GB HDD.

In the case of new equipment, the HP Compaq Mini 700 will cost 399 euros and the Mini 1000 499 euros. The first will be available in Portugal in December and the 1000 line in January next year, in the case of the special edition, and in February in the case of the normal edition.
