HP Announces New Omen Products, Including AMD Vega 10 GPU Gamer PC

THE HP announced new products in its line Omen gamer PCs, peripherals, laptops and monitors. In addition to the expected hardware evolution, a slide leak catches the eye because it shows that one of PC comes with a Vega GPU:

As shown on the slide, the user can choose one or two GTX 1080 for Nvidia platform or choose AMD by choosing one or two RX 480/580. Towards the end of 2017 appears the option of a Vega 10 GPU.

On the processor side the option is between a seventh generation Core i5 or i7 or a Ryzen 5 or 7 for those who want to go from AMD.

PCs started selling yesterday for values ​​starting at $ 900.

Omen X

In addition to the traditional desktop, HP also featured a compact PC gamer version, the Omen X. It comes with a GTX 1080, has 7th generation Core i7 processor options and offers a docking system for you to use the PC on more than a room or more than a house without also having to carry accessories or several cables. You can leave everything docked in the dock and just fit the PC in it to use.

Arrives in July, starting with $ 2,500.

Omen Accelerator

The company reused the design of the first version of its Omen X to create a video card dock called the Omen Accelerator. It comes with a 500W power supply and can come with an Nvidia or AMD GPU or just purchased with the power supply. A 1TB HDD or 256GB SSD can also come along, at the buyer's choice. The connection is made via Thunderbolt 3 and it offers 4 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C.

It will be released in August, starting from $ 300.

Omen 15 and Omen 17 Gamer Notebooks

Both notebooks arrive on June 28, with values ​​starting at $ 1,000 and $ 1,100respectively.


Also complementing the line are two display options, 25 '' and 27 ''. Both have 2 USB 3.0 ports and a frame to help with cable management, but they come with some differences. The 25 '' monitor has:
