AccuWeather is an online weather forecasting service that allows you to check temperature, thermal sensation, possibility of rain and other information about the climate of a specific region. Through the web version, it is possible to consult details hourly, according to the days of the week or to obtain an overview of the month, including maps with satellite images. The solution allows you to find out online whether it will rain or shine in any city in Brazil and the world in a period of up to three months in the future. Here’s how to use the main functions of AccuWather.

Step 1. Access www.accuweather.com through your browser and enter the city or zip code in the search field. It is also possible to automatically select according to the location with the option “Use your current location” and granting permission for the browser to track the position of the computer;

Step 2. In “Now”, the website displays a summary of the weather forecast in the selected location: first, the temperature of the moment and, next to it, the forecasts for the day, for the night and for the next day. The chart also shows the thermal sensation and the sky conditions. Use the side arrows to move the date forward or backward;

Step 3. Select the “Satellite” option to obtain more detailed images. There are four types of views: enlarged, standard, visible and water vapor. Click on each one to change the appearance of the map and use the plus and minus buttons to zoom;

Step 4. In the “Every hour” menu, AccuWeather shows how the weather changes throughout the day with information on temperature, thermal sensation, wind and gust speed, humidity and rainfall volume, among others. Scroll to check the hourly data and click the arrow in the upper right corner to view the details;

Step 5. In “Daily”, the website shows a list with the forecast of weather conditions for the week. Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to proceed to the next week. AccuWeather shows the forecast up to three months ahead according to the historical average;

Step 6. Another way to see the weather forecast in the future is in the option “Month”, in which the website shows the information in calendar format. Use the arrows at the top to advance from month to month;

Step 7. In the footer, the website has a graph that summarizes the current day’s temperature with real records in continuous line and forecasts in dashed line.
