The Spoken app teaches English in a fun way using mobile audio conversation. Available for iPhone (iOS), the app suggests phrases for the user to record with the microphone and complete dialogues of everyday situations, such as shopping, ordering food at a restaurant or attending a job interview. An artificial intelligence service identifies whether the pronunciation is correct or not. In addition to English, the service offers French, Spanish and Portuguese classes.
Upon completion of the lessons, the user takes a test to evaluate if they have really learned to communicate in that situation. As levels advance, new challenges are implemented in the conversations. Check out the tutorial below on how to use Spoken to learn English on mobile. The app is free, but has a limit of situations to learn. The paid plan, which costs $ 199.90 per year, grants unlimited access to courses.
