How to use the MosaLingua app to learn English in a fun way | Languages

The MosaLingua app is a free tool that brings language teaching on Android and iPhone (iOS) smartphones. Using the memory card method, the platform allows the creation of study plans according to the user's level of understanding in the language. The exercises bring pronoun, sentence memorization and writing practice. The interactive system, ranging from voice recordings to the use of wordplay to solve lessons.

Users can choose to learn English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian and Portuguese. The system works with learning levels. Therefore, users need to define their prior language knowledge in order for the application system to automatically create a syllabus. Step 1. Open the app and select the language you want to learn. Click the "Next" button and repeat the action to skip the welcome screen;

Step 2. Proceed to the virtual instructor's presentation screen. Then set your initial goal in learning the new language;

Step 3. Select the study time to practice the language and tap the "Next" button. On the next page, the platform will present options for you to indicate your level of learning or take a test to level your knowledge. The important procedure is for the system to select the lessons that will be useful for each user. For this example, we will use the "Select your level" option;

Step 4. Select your language learning level to advance. On the next page, a message indicates that the system is working to create your custom teaching plan. To advance, tap the "Next" button;

Step 5. Decide if you want to enable notifications for the app and on the next page create your account using an email address or linking your Facebook data.

Studying a language with MosaLingua

Step 1. When starting the study platform, tap on the "Learn" tab. The system will have a selection of flashcards based on your level of understanding in the language. You can click on the green circle to remove a theme from the list or add more by tapping the "+" button. To start studying, tap "Learn the list";

Step 2. Click on the type of exercise you want to perform to start the flashcards. Then perform activities that, as in this example, can test your pronunciation in the language. To do this, simply listen to the recorded phrase and record your voice using the "Repeat & Record" button;

Step 3. Tap "Flip the flashcard"to check their performance. I'll be able to keep opening new cards by tapping the" Next "button. To see more app options, tap the" Explore "tab;

Step 4. Use the categories to choose which type of lesson you want to study. Tap on one of the terms, then choose the lesson;

Step 5. You can hear the exercise phrases by tapping on the speaker icon. You can also add the lessons to your flashcards. To do this, tap on the green circle icon;

Step 6. Tap the progress tab to see how your learning level is in the app. Scroll to see options. You can set synchronization options, warnings, sound effects, images and example sentences in flashcards. Scroll to see more settings;

Step 7. Use other options to adjust learning direction, change speech rate in examples, review amount of flashcard and change the learning goal. To proceed, tap on the "More" tab;
