Monitor Covid-19 is the application of the Northeast Consortium that seeks to monitor suspected, confirmed cases and people in social isolation due to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.
With versions for Android phones and iPhone (iOS), the tool brings reliable information about the coronavirus, tips on how to prevent contamination, allows you to check symptoms, talk to specialists and find service stations dedicated to Covid-19.

In the following tutorial, check out how to use the Covid-19 Monitor app to monitor cases and symptoms of the new coronavirus.
The procedure was carried out on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply to other phones with the Google system and users of the Apple platform.
Some functions are exclusive to states in the Northeast region.

Covid-19 monitors: how to use the app
Step 1.
Install the Covid-19 Monitor app on your phone.
When opening it for the first time, select your state and city and tap «Next».
Slide the information screens about the new coronavirus and press «Next» or touch «Skip» in the upper right corner;

Step 2.
Now, tap on «Login» in the upper right corner of the screen.
Then, go to «Create account» and fill in the requested data to perform the registration;

Step 3.
If you want, authorize the application to access your location for face-to-face service.
Then, accept the terms of use and allow the app to access your location;

Step 4.
On the Covid-19 Monitor main screen, tap «How are you feeling now?» to see if you have symptoms of the new coronavirus.
Answer all questions and press «Submit».
The application will inform you if your case is suspect and needs medical attention or not;

Step 5.
In «Chat with us», you can access the app notifications or use the chat with experts about the new coronavirus.
The latter, however, is only available to people with medium or high risk of suspected Covid-19;

Step 6.
Returning to the app’s home screen, tap «Covid-19 Information» to see information about the new coronavirus.

Step 7.
In «Residential insulation guide», you will find tips on what to do or not to do during quarantine.

Step 8.
Activate the «Isolation» option to inform the application that you are isolated in your home and press «Yes» to confirm.
When leaving quarantine, remember to return to the application and disable the option.
