Using Photopea Image Options

Step 1. Open the Photopea website (https://www.photopea/) and use the "Open From Computer" option to start searching for an image on your computer to edit;

Step 2. Select the image you want to edit and click the "Open" button;

Step 3. In the top menu, click on the "Image" option for image editing features. You can adjust photo parameters in "Adjustments" and use automatic adjustments of hue, contrast and color. The area also has the option "Image Size" that allows you to resize the size of the photo;

Step 4. In "Filter", check out the effects options to apply to your photo. The gallery has artistic, blur filters and other options like Pixelate that increases the amplitude of the image's pixels.

Using Photopea Editing Tools

Step 1. In the options bar on the left side of the screen, rest the mouse pointer over the options to see their names and extra features. The first option represents the default tool pointer. The dotted square icon then indicates the type of selection that can be made at points in the image. You can choose the rectangular pattern or the ellipse selection;

Step 2. Following is the "Lao" tool. It allows you to create freehand selections in "Lasso Select", polygonal selections in "Polygonal Lasso Select" and magnetic silhouettes in "Magnetic Lasso Select";

Step 3. Select the crop option and use the edges inserted in the image to select the area you want to crop. You can also drag the crop selection to other points in the image. To confirm the cut, use the enter key on your keyboard;

Step 4. Following in the bar, we have "Eyedropper" which allows you to clone colors of specific areas of the image. "Ruler" is a feature for using on-screen rulers that can help you position images and other overlapping elements more easily. When enabled, simply pick a point from the image and click on it to automatically add the current brush tool color;

Step 5. Use the bandage cone to recover old images or remove skin blemishes on face photos. When triggered, the tool adds a selection icon that automatically applies the effect after a mouse click;

Step 6. The brush tool lets you make drawings on the image. The "Pencil Tool" option makes the stroke similar to that of a pencil;

Step 8. The pen icon allows you to make complex designs that follow a more perfect draw pattern with the "Pen" option. In "Free Pen", you can use the mouse pointer to create drawings manually, but without the same precision as the previous tool;

Step 9. The service even lets you add "Texts", use the pointer to select and move layers, add geometric elements, turn the mouse into a zoom tool and redefine the current color of the brushes.

Saving edited photos in Photopea to your computer

Step 1. To save an image you have just edited on your PC, click on the "File" option in the top menu and rest the mouse pointer over "Export As". Choose the type of file you want to generate;

Step 2. If necessary, reset the height and size of the image. The "Quality" option allows you to determine if the file has high or low resolution. To download the image to your PC, click "Save".
