How to use Instagram Threads | Social networks

The Instagram Threads app lets you start private conversations with users from Instagram's best friends list. The platform acts as a messenger to send and receive text messages, share photos and videos and initiate video conversations in real time. Available for iPhone (iOS) and Android, the tool has a camera mode in which you can add shortcuts for fast media sending to specific friends.

The new app, taken as a "Snapchat" rival, is available to all Instagram users. It even lets you create or edit the best friends list during app setup. If you send a message to someone who does not have Threads on their mobile phone, the text is available in the person's Direct to respond via Instagram. Here's how to use Threads to chat with your Instagram friends.
