Using Google DNS on Mobile

DNS services are responsible for interpreting the address entered in the address bar of the browser (or in any mobile phone app) and finding the corresponding server. DNS transforms, for example, www.globo.com in the sequence of numbers 186.192.90.5, which in fact represents the identity of the website. By default, cell phones and computers are configured with DNS offered by the internet service provider. However, these options are commonly slower than the solutions offered by companies like Google, Cisco and now Cloudflare.

Changing the DNS to Google's Public DNS, for example, tends to speed up navigation due to the greater agility to find the sites to be visited. However, the internet giant does not undertake to maintain the confidentiality of user data that travel on the service. The Cloudflare DNS defends this flag. According to the company, all user logs are discarded every 24 hours and no information will be commercialized.
