You can create slides in Word with a few simple settings. The feature is useful if your PowerPoint application has problems and you need to produce a presentation in a hurry. To do this in the text editor, you need to make adjustments to sheet orientation and size, change margins, and manually enter titles and topics in large fonts.

Step 1. Open a new Word document and go to the "Layout" tab. Then go to "Orientation" and select "Landscape";

Step 2. Then, next to it, open "Size" and press the "More Paper Sizes …" option;

Step 3. Set the "Width" and "Height" fields equal to the size of a slide to 4: 3 format, use width 25.4 cm and height 19.05 cm; For 16: 9 format, use width 25.4 cm / height 14.29 cm;

Step 4. Next, go to the "Margins" tab and change the value of the top, bottom, left and right margins to 2 cm. That done, press "OK";

Step 5. To enter titles, simply select the phrase or word, select "Styles" and select one of the title options. If necessary, you can increase the font size using the left options;

Step 6. To enter topics, select the desired text and click on the bullet icon. Now just select the desired bookmark option. Similarly to the title, if necessary you can increase the font size;

Step 7. Go to the "Insert" tab to add photos from your computer, internet images, shapes, artwork and graphics. Press the "Blank Page" option to insert new pages to your slides;

Step 8. Under "View", enable the "Navigation Pane" option and select "Pages" to see the thumbnail of your slides, as in PowerPoint, and make it easier to navigate through the document.
