This simple tutorial teaches you how to schedule publications on Twitter, on the day and time you want
Now it is possible schedule tweets and save drafts right on the web version of Twitter. Until recently, if you wanted a tweet to be published on a specific day and time, you would have to use third-party applications synchronized to Twitter, such as TweetDeck. For now, only possible schedule publications on Twitter in the web version of the social network. But for sure the resource will make life easier for many social media and digital influencers, as well as those who tweet at a less frenetic pace.
How to schedule Twitter posts
The first step is to make a tweet. In these posts you can use text, photos, GIFs, polls, combine text with images, in short, it depends on your creativity and need. Then just click on calendar icon, which is next to the emoji cone.
On this screen, you determine the day, ms, year and exact time you want the tweet to be published. After configuring this, click on βConfirmβ.
Now comes the last step: click on βScheduleβ.
Ready! Your tweet has been successfully scheduled. To see your list of scheduled posts, click in "TweetβAnd thenβUnsent Tweetsβ.
This screen shows two things: your drafts (which are the tweets you created and didn't publish) and scheduled posts (which are the tweets you created and scheduled to post). In fact, until recently it was only possible to save tweets without publishing to the Android and iOS apps of Twitter.
The list of scheduled tweets is organized in ascending order of time, from early to late. Thus, you can organize the order of publication of the posts in the way you see fit. And yes, you can edit that too.
If you want to cancel or change an appointment, just click on the chosen tweet in the list and then on the calendar icon. Then click on βTo cleanβTo cancel the schedule or reconfigure the schedule details and clickβUpdateβ.
If you want to delete the tweet completely, just click on βXβIn the upper left corner of the box.
When doing this, two options will appear. To delete the tweet, click on βTo discardβ. If you want to leave the tweet saved only as a draft, without scheduling a publication, just click on βTo saveβ.
Another way to cancel an appointment and delete the tweet by clicking βTo editβIn the upper right corner of the list of scheduled tweets.
After selecting the tweet (s) you want, just click on βDeleteβ.
Twitter bets on new features for the platform
THE Twitter has been betting on news to increase engagement on the platform, and also launched in March this year the Fleets, posts that expire after 24 hours, in a format that is already well known on other platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook. This novelty is still being tested, exclusively in Brazil

The Fleets they look like tweets, but have some peculiarities. In addition to being 24 hours long, these posts do not allow likes, comments and retweets. But there is a way to interact with a Fleet: just click on it and open a reply window in a Direct Message (DM), where you can continue the conversation.
According to Twitter Product Manager, Mo Al Adham, the Brazil was chosen to start testing the new functionality of the social network due to its relevance, as Brazilians are passionate about speaking and following other Brazilians on the platform. For now, Fleets will only be available in applications for Android and iOS, without forecast for web and desktop versions. If the tests are satisfactory, the company plans to expand the functionality to other markets.
