Telegram now allows you to schedule sending messages. The news came in the latest Android and iPhone (iOS) mobile app update, which also includes a theme editor, new animated emojis and more privacy settings. You can schedule messages to be sent to contacts, groups, and their saved messages, creating a personal reminder. The feature is not available on its main competitor, WhatsApp.

Step 1. Open Telegram Chat and type a message as normal. That done, keep the push button pressed for a moment. In the on-screen menu, tap "Schedule Message";

Step 2. Choose the day and time the message should be sent and confirm the schedule. Scheduled messages can be accessed by tapping the clock icon to the right of the text field;

Step 3. Tap a scheduled message to open the options. You can send the message immediately, change the schedule time, copy, edit the content or cancel the schedule in "Delete".

Step 1. Open your saved messages and type your reminder in the text field. Hold down the send button for a moment and tap "Create Reminder";

Step 2. Choose the day and time of your reminder and confirm the appointment. That way you will get a notification at the scheduled time. Tap on it to access your saved messages.
