The social network has reported that it wants to use this check as an experiment to refine the artificial intelligence model in fighting fake news. "This is an initial step as we work toward a more comprehensive approach to tackling misinformation," Stephanie Otway, the company's Facebook spokeswoman, told The Guardian.
