Denouncing crowds of people in Rio de Janeiro is possible in two different ways. The City Hall has a telephone number on WhatsApp and the Rio 1746 application, available free of charge for Android phones and iPhone (iOS). The initiative seeks to avoid crowding people in essential trade such as supermarkets, bakeries and pet shops or in public areas. The objective is to contain the progress of the pandemic and the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
