Facebook now allows you to remove the special effects that appear when you type certain words, such as "congratulations" or "hahaha". The option comes to answer the complaints of many users who found the animations with balloons, smiles and confetti irritating, as well as distracting. It is possible to remove text effects in both posts and comments, as long as these are created by you.
The procedure can be performed using Android phones and iPhones (iOS), in addition to the web version. In the tutorial below, the dnetc teaches the procedure from the mobile app.

Step 1. To remove text animation from a post you created, tap the three dots at the top of the publication. Then select "Remove text effects".

Step 2. Notice that the word does not appear more colorful and bold, and when touching it, no animation appears. To exclude the effect on comments, long press on the comment in which the word is highlighted.

Step 3. Touch "Remove text effects". As with the publication, the highlighted word formatting and the special effect will be removed.
