The National Digital Driver's License (CNH Digital) can be issued by cell phone, without the need to attend a DMV service or use a digital certificate. To obtain the document, I need the driver's license to be issued from May 2017 and contain a QR Code on the inside. Step 1. Download the CNH Digital application from the dnetc website. On the home page, enter your Social Security number and tap "Next". Then, fill in the form with personal data, create a password and select "Register";

Step 2. To proceed, I need to accept the Responsibility Terms by selecting the "I Accept" option. A link to activate the account will be sent to the registered email. Access the e-mail address to complete the registration;

Step 3. After validating the registration in the email, go back to the CNH Digital application and enter your CPF again. Then enter the password you just registered. Finish in "Enter";

Step 4. After logging into the account, tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner. Then choose the "CNH Digital" option;

Step 5. Select the option "Validation by cell phone" to proceed without needing the digital certificate. Then, confirm in "Validate using cell phone";

Step 6. Select "Grant access" to authorize access to the camera app. Scan the QR Code printed on the inside of your CNH for automatic reading;

Step 7. On the next screen, go to "Next" to perform facial biometrics. Click OK to start and follow the steps on the screen. The app asks you to close your left eye, then your right eye, and finally, smile;

Step 8. Enter your phone number and go to "Finish". Finally, create an Access Key password with four digits that will be requested in the next accesses to the document. Enter the code twice and select "Register key";

Step 9. You finished the registration. To view your digital driver's license, select the item you just registered on the app's home screen. Slide the carousel to the side, to also see the back of the document and the registered QR Code. After restarting the application or the device, you only need to enter the Access Key that you created to access your authorization.
