Step 1. Visit the Loom page (https://chrome.google/webstore/detail/loom-video-recorder-scree/liecbddmkiiihnedobmlmillhodjkdmb) from the Chrome Web Store and download the extension in Chrome.

Step 2. Click on the extension icon and sign in using Google or one of the other available options.

Step 3. In the Loom Settings screen, check Personal and click Next. Then select One-click Access and allow the plugin to access your camera and microphone.

Step 1. To start recording, click the plugin button in the Chrome bar and choose whether you want to capture screen and camera, just the screen or just the camera. Also choose whether you want to include audio, and whether the recording will only consider the current tab or the entire desktop.

Step 2. By clicking Show advanced options, Loom displays the camera and microphone selector if external accessories are connected to the computer. When everything is ready, click Start recording.

Step 3. Loom uses Chrome's screen sharing feature to record. Finally, select whether you want the full screen or a specific application (the option appears only when selecting desktop recording).

Step 4. Recording begins after a short countdown. To stop and create the video, click Stop Sharing.
