Step 1. Login to Facebook and press your name to open the profile;

Step 2. In the What are you thinking window, select the Event tab;

Step 3. Check Relationship type to advance;

Step 4. Next, describe the title of the post in your own words or choose one of predefined relationship status. The options are: new relationship, engagement, marriage, met and taking over;

Step 5. Facebook will display a preview of the post. Browse through the thumbnails of images to change the look or press the Photos / Videos button to use a computer material to illustrate the publication

Step 6. Select Add Partner to tag the person in the post, and set the start date of the relationship;

Step 7. Finally, type a personal text and select who can see the post in the feed. When done, press the Share button;

Step 8. The person tagged in the post will receive two notifications, one about the post and one about the relationship status. Once she accepts both, the couple's names will appear in both the Event and the About sections of the profiles.
