Step 1. Open Android "Settings" and go to "Sound" option;

Step 2. Go to "Phone ringtone" and select "Add ringtone" from the list;

Step 3. Select the music from your files. You will be directed to the previous screen automatically. Then select the desired song from the list and tap "OK". From now on, the system will identify the song as a ringtone and it can be used as a ringtone in WhatsApp;

Step 4. Open WhatsApp and tap the three dots in the upper right corner to access Settings;

Step 5. Tap "Notifications" and in the "Calls" section, go to "Ringtone". Choose the song you marked as a ringtone and tap OK. Ready. When receiving calls through WhatsApp, the music will be played as the ringing sound;

Step 6. If you want, you can also put the music as a ringtone for receiving new messages. To do this, just perform the same procedure, adding the song as "notification sound" in the "Messages" and "Groups" sections.
