Flash effects and "flasher" can be used in the video editor. For this, it is necessary to merge the light effects with the media of your Lomotif. Open the app and tap on the "+" icon to create a new clip. You can add photos from the gallery or clips from the application itself. Select the images and tap on the arrow in the upper right corner to proceed.
Touch the "+" icon to the left of the clips to be edited. Select the option "Clips" and search for "flash" in the magnifying glass. Choose the light effect you want and add it to the movie editing timeline. It is ideal to merge the light effects between scenes, and by tapping on the flash effect you can duplicate it and move it between clips.
2. Zoom effect on the Lomotif

A simple way to create a zoom effect on the video is to place the same photo in sequence, pinning your fingers over the image. Create a new Lomotif by touching the "+" cone and add the photo you want to apply the zoom effect to. You can even choose a song to play in the background of your video, which can be either already registered on the platform or an audio file saved on your cell phone.
Touch the selected photo and press the "+" icon twice to add two more copies of the same image. Touch the second and third photos and pinch your fingers across the screen to zoom in. It is important to make the third photo larger than the second, in order to create the zoom effect on the video. When finished, tap the confirm sign at the top of the screen and save the clip to your smartphone.
3. Add filter to alternate photos in Lomotif

Another option for editing video with photos is to apply different filters to the same image. For this, you can use the native effects of Lomotif, some photo editing app, such as PicsArt, or even Instagram. Apply the desired photo filters and create a new Lomotif by tapping on the "+" cone. Add the photos in sequence, adjust the aspect ratio, the time you want the video and save the clip on your smartphone.
4. Change the length of the clip on the Lomotif

You can also create effects that simulate small "crashes" using Lomotif. Touch the "+" icon and add two identical clips to edit. Touch the second video and slide the screen down until you find the stopwatch, symbolized by the design of a watch. Shorten the time for the second clip and you will have a video that was purposely caught, in the style of those recorded on VHS tapes in the early 90s.
5. More effects for Lomotif
You can also complement the editing of your videos using other platforms or editing apps. They can be useful mainly to apply transition effects between the scenes of your film, to modify scenarios, to add subtitles or to obtain some motion effects.
Add filters to photos or edit videos on other platforms, export files to Lomotif and proceed with new editions with music, organizing the order of the scenes. Adding these features can make your clip quality even better, and make it more creative and interesting for other users, as a way to attract new followers on the social network.
