Vehicle owners can now print the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV) at home. The authenticity of the document can be verified by traffic authorities by scanning the QR code with the Vio application. The novelty is already available in 13 states: Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, EspĂrito Santo, Goiás, MaranhĂŁo, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, PiauĂ, Paraná, RondĂ´nia, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, in addition to the Federal District. Other states are expected to adopt the system by June 30, 2020.

In the following tutorial, check out how to access and print the CRLV online. The procedure was performed through the Denatran Service Portal, on the computer. However, it is also possible to issue the document through the Digital Traffic Wallet app and through the State Detran website.

Step 1. Access the Denatran Services Portal website (portalservicos.denatran.serpro.gov.br) and click on «Enter with gov.br», on the left sidebar;

Step 2. Enter your CPF and password registered on the Federal Government website or click on «Create your account» to register;

Step 3. After logging in, if necessary, authorize the Denatran Service Portal to access your personal data;

Step 4. Now, click on «Download CRLV» on the left side menu;

Step 5. Enter the RENAVAM, CRV card and security code. Click on the question mark (?) To see where the number is located. It is worth remembering that the CRV is different from the CRLV – it is usually attached to the vehicle transfer receipt;

Step 6. Then click on «CRLVDigital.pdf» to download or open the digital CRLV document file in PDF format;

Step 7. Finally, click on the printer icon to print. The authenticity of the document can be verified using the QR code in the Vio application.
