IFood, a food delivery application, also has a web platform that allows ordering food via the computer. The browser version of the service has the same features found in the app for iPhone (iOS) and Android phones. After a quick registration, new users can add their addresses, place orders and receive food at home. In addition, it is possible to make payments by credit card or choose to pay on delivery of the order.

How to create an iFood account
Step 1. Access the iFood website (www.ifood.com.br) and click on «Login» to view the login page;

Step 2. You can sign in using a Google or Facebook account. However, if you are a new user, you will have to configure your delivery address. For this example, we’ll show you how to create the account using the «Email or cell phone» option;

Step 3. Enter your email or cell phone and press the «Continue» button. During the test, we used an email address;

Step 4. Enter your full name and phone number. Then, click on the «Register» button to proceed;

Step 5. You will receive a 5-digit authentication code on your phone or email. Enter the numbers on the screen below and click the «Continue» button;

Step 6. You can take advantage of the «Use my location» feature so that the website’s system finds your approximate address. In addition, it is possible to enter the location data in «Search address and number»;

Step 7. Enter your address and home number and click on the corresponding search result.

How to place an order on iFood on your PC
Step 1. Type the name of the dish you want to order and press the «Enter» button on your computer’s keyboard. The service’s home page offers categories of restaurants, bars and snack bars. In addition, it is possible to find promotions and other suggestions from the platform;

Step 2. Click on one of the restaurants that sell the type of food you are looking for;

Step 3. Click on the description of one of the dishes offered by the restaurant;

Step 4. Add the required or suggested items to the dish and press the «Add» button;

Step 5. Check your order data to check the product value and delivery fee. Then select «Choose form of payment»;

Step 6. In the «Deliver to» section, click on the «Choose» option. In this way, the address added during account setup will be set for delivery. Under «Payment», choose how you want to pay for your order. To start, we will access the option «Pay online»;

Step 7. The «Pay online» function allows you to add credit card details. The information is valid for the current purchase, but is also saved for future purchases;

Step 8. The «Pay on delivery» option allows you to choose between debit and credit card payments. After defining your order, enter your CPF and press the «Place order» button.
