Sticker.ly is a free app for Android and iPhone (iOS) capable of creating stickers for use on WhatsApp. The platform is in second place among the most downloaded on the App Store, Apple's official store, on Tuesday (16) according to App Annie, which monitors the app market. Interested parties can select images from the gallery to create packages with at least three stickers. Content must be imported by the messenger and can be sent to your friends via chat.

The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips also apply to the version of the Google OS mobile app.

Step 1. Install the Sticker.ly app on your phone from the TechTudo page. Then open the app and tap "New Package". Enter a name for your package and author, then go to "Create" in the upper right corner of the screen;

Step 2. Then tap "Add" and locate the photo you want to use. After selecting it, choose "Auto Crop." to have the app remove the background from your photo. Another alternative to manually mark the area to be cropped;

Step 3. After performing the automatic process, you can insert text in the sticker. If necessary, choose the "Adjust" option to erase or restore details in the image. That done, go to "Apply";

Step 4. Tap "Save" in the upper right corner to complete the action. Back at Sticker.ly's home screen, select "Add" again and repeat the procedure described above. The system requires at least three stickers to import the stickers into WhatsApp;

Step 5. After creating three or more stickers, select "Add to WhatsApp". WhatsApp will open and press "Save" to confirm the import of images;

Step 6. To access the stickers, open a WhatsApp conversation and tap the cone next to the text field. Open the stickers tab and choose the package icon at the top. Finally, just tap the chosen sticker to send.
