Available for Android and iPhone (iOS) phones, the free learning platform offers a number of lessons for understanding the meaning of words, as well as pronunciation training. For this, the application has as a prerequisite the mastery of basic English, because there are no lessons in Portuguese.
In the adapted plot of the book "The Chronicles of Ice and Fire", the language is related to the inhabitants of Valria, in the eastern continent of Essos, the imaginary territory of history. The language stands out for the use of Daenerys Targaryen, one of the protagonists, known by the accompanying drages. Linguist David J. Peterson has expanded the dialect to the series and also to the teaching platform. Step 1. Download Duolingo from the dnetc page. On the app's home screen, go to "Get it now". Then the bottom of the screen, continue to "More";

Step 2. To find the high Valyrian language, search for "High Valerian from English", and then tap the list option. Then accept that the application has the language changed to English prerequisite for learning;

Step 3. At the practice levels, define which length of learning best suits your need. In this example we chose the option "Casual" to exercise for five minutes a day. Go to "Continue" to select the high Valyrian language knowledge: "New to High Valyrian", something like "Beginner in High Valyrian"; or "Already know some High Valyrian?" Step 4. In principle, language teaching will be done by deduction from words. Throughout the exercises, the understanding of words will be improved. To hear the pronunciation, select the blue screen icon. Translate the sentence by dragging the words on the line above and then tapping "Check". Choose "Continue" to advance in the application lessons. Stakeholders need to complete all tasks to follow to the next level of learning;

Step 5. After completing all questions from the first lesson, complete "Continue". Finally, go to "Continue" again and, on the next screen, Duolingo will ask you to create a profile or login if you have already registered in the platform.
