Snow is an application that brings similar functionality to Apple's Animojis present only on iPhone X, both for other iPhone models (iOS) and for Android phones. The feature consists of animated emojis that identify the user's face and replicate their facial movements using augmented reality (AR).

Step 1. Download Snow AR.
Step 2. Open the application. Then, it is possible to login via Facebook and Line account, as well as phone number. Tap on the "Skip" option to skip the registration.

Step 2. Authorize access to some smartphone features: select Allow for requests involving photo, video and audio recording.

Step 3. Touch Allow Snow to access photos, media and files from the device again. In the request to make and manage calls, we opted to deny access, since the permission is not necessary for the function that we will use.

Step 4. Touch the icon of a smiley face, located on the bottom left side, to access the available options. Then, touch the piggy cone that appears on the screen.

Step 5. The character options will be displayed. When using the function for the first time, it will be necessary to download the desired animation. For this it is necessary to touch the image and wait a few seconds. Then, just tap again when the drawing appears on the screen, recognize your face and copy your facial movements.

Step 1. After selecting the character, keep the bottom option bar in the Normal option. s press the round button to take a photo. In the sequence some items will appear. By clicking on Ratio, the user can change the aspect ratio.

Step 2. Select the desired dimensions and tap the arrow to return to the options. In Share there are the sharing options on social networks.

Step 3. The user has the option of saving the image to the cell phone gallery. To do this, I need to touch the sphere with a down arrow.

Step 1. Drag the bottom menu to the Video option. To start recording, touch the circle with the design of a camera. If you want to stop shooting, just touch the circle again, which will now have the pause symbol.

Step 2. If you want to resume recording, just touch the button again. To finish the process, click on the red arrow icon. Then, some options will be displayed. By clicking on the musical note, the user has access to a series of songs to add to the video.

Step 3. Choose a song and go to Use this music. The song will automatically enter as a soundtrack on the video. The Share button makes it possible to send the final result to friends.

Step 4. Tap on the app you want to share and follow the standard procedure. Finally, to save the movie, just click on the circle with the down arrow.

As with Musical.ly, Snow allows users to record videos singing their favorite songs. In that case, dubbing a pipe with an animoji face makes the feature even more funny.
Step 1. Drag the bottom menu to the Music option and tap on the musical note icon.

Step 2. A list of songs will be opened. Choose a song and confirm by tapping Start shooting with this music. You can choose the time the song will be played. At 0.3x and 0.5x, play faster than normal, while at 2x and 3x, more slowly. To start recording, touch the button with the red circle.

Step 3. To stop shooting, just touch the circle again, which will now have the pause symbol. If you want to resume recording, just press the button again. Click on the red arrow icon to complete the process.

Step 4. Go to Share to share the result via other apps.

It is possible to create GIFs from a recorded video or through the Boomerang function which, despite the name, does not have native integration with the Instagram app.
Record the movie as explained above. When finished, select the GIF option. Soon, the video will be displayed in a loop.

Step 1. Drag the bottom menu to the Boomerang option. Then tap on the circle with the infinity icon. The app will start recording a short movie, which cannot be paused. When the recording is finished, the app will display options to save, share and include a song, as explained in the previous steps.
