Uber will try to connect you to the driver. You will hear an automatic message and must type «1» to make the connection. If the driver answers and confirms that the object has been found, arrange a time and place to pick it up. It is important to note that Uber charges a R $ 20 return fee in order to reimburse the driver for the displacement.
If the driver does not answer, the company recommends leaving a voice message in the mailbox, describing the item and providing a telephone number for contact. If you do not receive a return within 24 hours, you will need to contact Uber.
To do this, repeat steps 1 and 2 and check the option «I was unable to contact my driver to obtain a lost item». Then fill in the form and tap «Submit».
