Clean Space is a disk utility for Windows that allows you to clear memory and free up hard drive space on your PC. The program is lightweight, free and easy to use: Once opened, it analyzes the junk mail on your computer and gives you the option to delete useless items with one click. Step 1. Download and install Clean Space on the computer. In the installation procedure, be sure to choose the automatic translation for Portuguese;

Step 2. It is also important to run the program as administrator. Check the dialog to avoid warning the next time;

Step 3. The program will start scanning in sequence. It is possible that it will ask to terminate browsers and other running programs. Press OK and close apps manually and avoid checking the auto close box so as not to endanger unsaved jobs;

Step 4. After scanning, Clean Space displays on screen the amount of junk mail bytes identified in the example, the 3,840,992,500 bytes equals 3.84 GB. Select the Delete option to perform the cleanup;

Step 5. You can customize Clean Space from the Details menu before deleting;

Step 6. The program separates the trash into a side menu: first the operating system residues and then the installed applications. Use the trash button on the right side to remove specific files from each app;

Step 7. You can also uncheck items that should not be removed during cleaning. For example, you can select Chrome and unpack the navigation history that will be deleted;

Step 8. It is also possible to remove complete trash from specific programs. Select the application on the side and press the option Delete all trash in the selected areas in the footer;

Step 9. Clean Space also has some features that help prevent future restoration of deleted files. The function is useful when selling the computer, for example. Access the settings menu and select the checkboxes for Secure Delete. There are three actions available in the free version of the program: reset the size, change the date and write random characters over a deleted file.
