Gmail has a feature that uses artificial intelligence to display alerts. When you activate it, only messages considered important are notified. This way, the user is not interrupted with emails that can be ignored or viewed later, such as social media notifications and promotions. The function, however, is disabled by default.

Step 1. Access your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Then click on "Settings";

Step 2. In the settings screen, find the section "Notifications on the desktop" and check the option "Enable important email notifications";

Step 3. Finally, scroll down the page and click on "Save changes".

Step 1. Access the Gmail settings. To do this, tap on the menu icon, in the upper left corner of the screen, and go to "Settings";

Step 2. If you have more than one account set up, tap on which you would like to set up priority email alerts. Then tap on "Notifications";

Step 3. Finally, select the option "Only high priority".

Ready! That way, you will receive notifications only for emails considered important by Gmail.
