How to logo in Photoshop with the pen tool

The advantage of making a logo using the pen tool is that it is vectorized and can therefore be resized without any loss in image quality.

Step 1. Open a new document in Adobe Photoshop and erase the bottom of the layer by selecting Ctrl + A and then "Delete". Then create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) and paste a reference image to the logo. Then access the Pen Tool from the left toolbar;

Step 2. Add one more layer to the file. Then use the pen tool to mark outlines of the shape of the reference image. If you mark any points out of place, press the Ctrl key and hold Alt to adjust the outline;

Step 4. After adjusting all shape contours, press the "Shape" option at the top of the screen and select the "Fill" option to choose the fill color of the picture. At this point, you can hide the layer with the reference image as it will no longer be used;

Step 5. With the pen tool selected, right-click on the picture and choose the "Free Transform Path" option and freely change the size;

Step 6. After positioning the picture, select the text tool and choose the desired font. Write your brand name and position the text along the image as you wish.

Ready! Be sure to save the logo in PSD format so you can edit it in the future, and also in PNG so the background is transparent.

How to logo in Photoshop with the brush tool

Another way to create your logo with the brush tool. This way is much less laborious, but it requires that you already have some brushes installed on your PC.

Step 1. Select the brush tool from the left bar;

Step 2. Choose the desired brush and set the tool as shown in the image below. Remember to keep the "opacity" and "flow" options at 100%. Once set, the brush shadow appears on the cursor and just click on the editable area to stamp the file. In this case, we use the brush twice with different colors, blue and green;
