How to disable WhatsApp | Social networks

WhatsApp can be temporarily disabled if your phone is lost, and the question of how to disable WhatsApp is quite common on the internet.

The request must be made by email and it may take a few hours to complete.

By doing this, your account remains inactive for up to 30 days and can be reactivated at any time.

If this is not done within this period, your data will be permanently deleted and a new account will need to be created.

In the following tutorial, learn how to disable your WhatsApp for a while.

The procedure was performed on a Moto E4, with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but the tips apply to iPhone users (iOS).

It is worth remembering that, in case of a stolen or lost cell phone, it is also important to disable your SIM chip with the operator to prevent the account from being used on another device.
