IGTV is Instagram's new video app. The feature is integrated into the main social network app and, by default, displays notifications about updates for all videos. These alerts can be annoying for some people, but there are ways to adjust them. You can completely disable or allow notifications only for the profiles you follow.
In the following tutorial, see how to set up video notifications on IGTV. The procedure was carried out on the Instagram version for iPhone (iOS), but the tips are also valid for Android users.

Step 1. Access your Instagram profile. To do this, tap on the cone in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, touch the gear icon to open the settings;

Step 2. Swipe to the "Notifications" section and open "Push notifications". At the bottom of the screen, under "Updates on video on IGTV", you can select "Disabled" or "From people I follow".
