Step 1. Access YouTube and make sure your account is logged in. In the left side menu, click on History;

Step 2. In the right menu of the history page, select Search history;

Step 3. YouTube will list all searches performed on the platform. Click the x to remove one by one;

Step 4. In the menu on the side, the site allows you to remove all the search terms at once in Clear all search history;

Step 5. Now by clicking Pause search history, it is possible to prevent the recording of any keyword used in the search field. All actions taken in the YouTube settings will be applied to both the web version and the mobile apps.
