Gboard has a function that allows you to create images in GIF format with animated visual effects. The feature, exclusive for iPhone (iOS), brings a selector of effects that are added in real time with the camera of the cell phone. In this way, after choosing one of the themes, it is possible to record people and objects to generate looped animations and send them to your friends.
Among the effects, it is possible to use the simulation of breaking news, kaleidoscope and "door closing". Check out the tutorial below and learn how to create GIFs with visual effects on your smartphone. To test the function, we used an iPhone 7 with iOS 11 and the WhatsApp app.

How to dismiss word suggestions on Gboard
Step 1. Open Gboard in a messenger or social network app in this step-by-step, we use WhatsApp as an example and tap the camera icon. Then, on the next screen, tap the button at the bottom right of the screen.

Step 2. Choose a visual effect in the highlighted area. To record the scene to be used in the GIF, press and hold the white circle button. Release when you finish shooting.

Step 3. Check the created GIF and tap on the "Send" option to be redirected to the previous app. At that time, the image is automatically copied to the cell clipboard. Touch the message bar and then the "Paste" option.

Step 4. If necessary, add a caption and then tap the blue arrow icon to send the GIF to the conversation.
