Behance is an Adobe tool aimed at creating free websites, and is widely used for making online portfolios. The service is famous for hosting the work of professionals in the areas of communication, design, arts, advertising and audiovisual. It is possible to create workbooks and specific projects to publish images and texts in an organized way.

Step 1. Access the Behance website (behance.net) and choose how to create an account. It is possible to register with e-mail or use data from Google or Facebook. As an example, we will create a register using email;

Step 2. Enter your details and, at the end, select Subscribe;

Step 3. Next, select online work styles that can be interesting and inspiring for you. You can choose between Design, Photography, Architecture, Fashion, among others. To conclude, check the See my personalized feed button.

Step 1. Click on the Create Project button on the top menu bar to create a work folder. You can create as many projects as you like and distribute the works in separate folders, to create a more organized portfolio;

Step 2. In the left side menu, you can insert computer images, texts, Lightroom photos, Creative Cloud files and create a photo grid. Select Send files to upload a photo from the PC;

Step 3. Select the images on your computer and press Open;

Step 4. Click on the pencil button in the upper left corner to edit the image, insert a caption or delete it;

Step 5. To add text to the project, option Add text, in the side menu;

Step 6. To format it, mark the desired section and choose the best font, size and color options in the edit bar;

Step 7. In the upper right corner of the screen, select Preview to open a preview of how the folder will look. In Save, you save editions to avoid job losses. To proceed to the next step, press Continue;

Step 8. In the next step, you must choose a cover image and a title for your project. Select Upload image to upload a cover photo from your computer. In the Project title field, type the name of the folder;

Step 9. After inserting the cover and title, click on the Crop & Continue button;

Step 10. I need to add categories to the folder. Click + Add to report. At the end, confirm in "Publish";

Step 11. If you want to edit the folder later or add new jobs, select Edit project.

Step 1. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen, or on the word Profile on the top menu to access its page. Then select the Edit option. Profile;

Step 2. You can include a profile picture, information such as occupation, professional experiences, links to profiles on social networks and a description of your life.

To create a custom URL

Step 1. Click on the profile icon, in the upper right corner, and go to Settings;

Step 2. In the Account Information menu, edit the Behance URL option and choose the address you want. Finish by clicking Apply. The URL will be in the format https://www.behance.net/YourName.
