How to count characters in Excel | Productivity

Excel allows you to count cell characters in a document from a formula. The ideal resource for cases where you need to find out how many numbers, spaces, letters, and other characters were used in a single cell. The formula needs the location of the cell and, after its execution, can offer the automatic sum of the present characters.

The procedure works for Office 365, Excel Online, Excel 2019, Excel 2016, and Excel 2013 spreadsheets. Check out the tutorial we prepared to see how many characters are in a cell in Microsoft Excel.
