Wondershare UniConverter allows you to convert videos of any format and offers several other tools for those who work with videos
It may seem strange that, in the middle of the 21st century, video conversion for different formats is still a necessity, but this is the reality in which we live. With an increasing number of devices using screens, the number of places we can use to watch a video is increasing, but not all formats are always accepted by all devices.
This is a problem that anyone who has ever needed to use the company or college computer to submit a project has passed at least once in their life. The safest recommendation in these cases is to have the file of any video that needs to be shown in the presentation for offline access, so as not to be surprised by flaws in the internet of the place. But many times a video that runs smoothly on your computer ends up not being recognized in the place where you will present it due to the format.
Therefore, it is a common recommendation to always use your videos in MP4 format, which is considered the international standard for video files and, therefore, can normally be played on any device. But many times the video you want to present is in a format that does not have such a broad support – MOV, for example. In such cases, the best way out is to use a video conversion program – and the best software for that is Wondershare UniConverter.

How to convert videos in Wondershare UniConverter
Use the Wondershare UniConverter It is very simple, and everything starts with the program's own language, which is 100% translated into Portuguese. This makes it much simpler to navigate, since all of its navigation buttons are very easy to understand.
To convert a file is very easy: when you open the program, you will automatically be in the Convert tab, which is exactly the place you need to be to convert a video. Within this tab, you must start the process by clicking on the Add button, which is in a top menu of the tab, in the left corner.
When you press the button, you will be taken to a file manager prompt, where you must choose the video you want to convert. For this example, we selected a video that we have here in the MOV format. After selecting the video, you will return to the previous screen, with the selected file highlighted.
It will be possible to note that the screen is now divided into three columns: on the left, we have a preview of the chosen video, in the middle a column of Origin (where you can see information about the video you want to convert), and on the right a column of Target, with information about the final format that you will convert the selected video.
The Target column is clickable and, in doing so, you open a menu of formats made available by UniConverter for conversion. In this menu you can find four tabs: one of them is Video, where you can choose from dozens of formats (MP4, MKV, AVI, etc.) to convert your video, in addition to also being able to modify the final quality of this conversion, being able to keep the same as the original or force a specific resolution.
In the audio tab, you can select different audio file formats (such as MP3, WAV, WMA, etc.), which is a good option if, for example, you have the video recording of a show and only want the audio of this event to be able to listen on the car radio. When selecting a format from this tab, UniConverter will ignore the entire visual part of the video and convert only its audio to a new file in the format of your choice.
The third tab, Device, is perfect for people who don't have a lot of technical knowledge about media format and things like that. There you will find a list of devices that can play videos (such as smartphones, TVs and video games), where you can choose which device you want to access the video on and the program itself chooses the most suitable format for the chosen equipment.
In addition to these three tabs, after being used at least once, the Recent tab also appears, where you can quickly access the most used conversion formats.
Below the format settings you still have access to two drop down menus, where you can add subtitles on the video (which will be added during the conversion) or choose audio tracks that you don't want to be on the final video (useful for those who convert movies on DVD or Blue-Ray and want to eliminate some language options to make the file lighter). When you have decided how you want your conversion to be done and just click the convert button and you're done! Your video will be converted for the selected format.
The conversion may not always be instantaneous, as it depends a lot on the size of the original video, and you may have to wait a few minutes before you can access the converted video. And, if you want to know a little more about how all the other tools in the Wondershare UniConverter, you can enter the online user guide that the program itself makes available on its website to answer the most common questions of new users.
