Contrary to what happens in other apps like WhatsApp, the option to delete the message is always available, including, even after the person has viewed the conversation. Step 1. Open Instagram and tap on the Direct icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, access one of your conversations;
Step 2. Keep the message to be deleted pressed and choose the option "Cancel sending";
Step 3. The action leaves no trace in the chat, as in the message below.
