How to cancel an order on Glovo | Productivity

Glovo is a delivery application for various items available for Android and iPhone (iOS). In addition to being able to order food in restaurants, the user can order pharmacy products and convenience stores, alcoholic beverages, stationery, food purchases in supermarkets and even electronics. Unlike rival iFood, Glovo allows you to cancel orders within the app itself, without having to contact the seller.

The procedure changes according to the status of your order and, in this tutorial, we teach you both ways to do it. The walkthrough was performed on a Moto G5S Plus phone with Android 7.1.1.

Cancellation without order confirmation

Step 1. As soon as you confirm an order on Glovo, the "Glovo shipped!" Box will appear. Press the "According" button to close it and go to the main screen of the app. There, touch the three dashes menu located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. The app displays the status of your order. While it is in phase 1 (on hold), you can cancel immediately. To do this, touch this bottom part of the screen to open the order details and press the "Cancel Glovo" button.

Step 3. In the message box that appears on the screen, press "Yes" to confirm the cancellation. Going back to the three dashes menu you will see that the delivery appears as canceled. Touch "Repeat" if you want to redo the order you just canceled.

Cancellation with order in progress

Step 1. It may be that, when entering the main screen menu, your order is already in the second stage – that is, in preparation. Touch the screen and follow the instructions below.

Step 2. See that there is no button "Cancel Glovo". Instead, touch "Contact customer support". The link opens a chat window with the delivery person responsible for your order. Inform him that you want to cancel the delivery.

Step 3. Wait for the delivery person to confirm the cancellation of your order. Once this is done, press the "X" to exit the chat and then press the "Close Chat" button.

Step 4. Answer Glovo customer service questions, if desired, by pressing "Submit" to send feedback. When entering the menu of your Glovos (three dashes on the main screen), the order will have its status canceled.
