Android does not have, as a native feature, the option to cancel or delete SMS already sent. For this, it is essential that you install an application with this function. One of them is TigerText (unfortunately unfortunately only in English):

Install on Google Play

TigerText is a messaging app that can completely replace your native SMS app. Your contacts don't need to have the same app before they can send you messages.

TigerText's main goal is to protect your messages, but it also has the practical option to unsubscribe from an SMS. Here's how to do it:

 • Write your SMS as usual;
 • Long click on the text sent;
 • Choose the Recall option. Warning: To work, I need your recipient to not have opened the message yet.

Just click on "Recall" and your message will be canceled. AndroidPIT

The action will have worked if you no longer see the green light indicating successful sending of the message.

If you want to try a similar service with another interface and possibilities, there is also Handcent SMS on the Play Store:
