The vacation calculator is a free tool that lets workers know how much they will be paid for their paid vacation. The service was created to help the employee know the total or proportional value, even without knowing all the labor laws, benefits included and other values indispensable for this calculation. To use the site, it is necessary to inform the gross salary, the amount of overtime worked in the last year and the number of dependents of the worker.
In Brazil, every worker can take 30 days of vacation. The benefit, guaranteed by the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), is released after 12 months of working in the same company. The paid rest period, however, the law still guarantees that part of the benefit is negotiated with the employer. Called a cash bonus, action allows you to sell 10 days of vacation, that is, convert 1/3 (one third) of the vacation days into cash. Step 1. Access the tool's website (calculatingfair.net) and fill in the information "Your gross salary", "Overtime in the year" and "Number of dependents". Then click on the choice bar next to "Number of days" to see the options;

Step 2. Set "20" if you want to sell the 10 days allowed by law. To calculate the full value of the holiday, select "30";

Step 3. Press the "Calculate" button so that the service displays the result at the bottom of the screen;

Step 4. Check the amount that will be paid in the period "You will receive a total of". Other information will be presented in the table. The service also shows the value of the vacation plus the first installment of the thirteenth, if your vacation coincides with that benefit.
