How to Apply for the Information Access Law | Internet

The Information Access Law (LAI), in force since May 2012, regulates citizens' right of access to public information. This means that anyone can, without explaining the reasons, request data from the three powers of the municipal, state, district, and federal governments. On the Internet, these requests are made through e-SIC (Electronic Information Service to Citizens).

In addition to making the request, e-SIC allows you to follow up on the response deadline, consult the responses received, file appeals, make complaints, among other actions. Learn how to make a government information request in the following tutorial.
