Windows Defender is the Microsoft system native antivirus and is enabled by default on the Windows 10 PC. However, for some reason, real-time protection may be disabled. Thus, the software will not be able to identify threats in files downloaded from the Internet or pen drives connected to the computer, for example.

Step 1. Open Windows Defender. To do this, simply click on the application icon, left of the system clock;
