Facebook will get a new look soon and users can now activate the novelty manually from the settings menu. The new design was announced almost a year ago, during the F8 conference in April 2019, and was restricted to a few people. Among the main changes, the social network leaves the traditional blue bar aside and starts to support the dark mode natively.

The new visual identity of Facebook on the computer comes close to the current experience of applications for Android phones and iPhone (iOS). In addition, the social network is lighter and more responsive on PCs with different screen sizes and resolution. Step 1. Access Facebook and, if necessary, log in to your account. Then click on the arrow button in the upper right corner of the page. In the menu that appears, select "Switch to the new Facebook";

Step 2. The social network will show you some introduction screens about the new look and you will be able to choose between light and dark mode. Later, to switch between themes, return to the menu, in the upper right corner, and enable or disable the "Dark mode" option;

Step 3. If you don't like the new look, you can go back to the old theme by accessing the menu and clicking on "Switch to classic Facebook".
