What and how does Guigo TV work?
Launched in August 2019, Guigo TV works exclusively over the Internet. The platform transmits all the programming of the contracted channels in real time via streaming, so that the user can watch on any device that has an active connection. All channels are broadcast with their traditional programming, just as on a regular pay TV.
One of the big differences is that it is not necessary to install receivers, antennas or decoders at home to watch the channels contracted. It is also not necessary to request the installation or visit of a technician at home, since all the hiring of the service is done online, and the release of the signal immediately.

Guigo TV informs that it has contracts with all channels that are available on the platform, authorizing the transmission legally throughout Brazil. On the company's website, the CNPJ informed belongs to the company Guigo Television LTD, indicated as an international holding company with a home abroad.

During the use of the service, the user has access to a channel guide and to the programming schedules of each broadcaster, being able to navigate between programs as he wishes, as well as in a traditional pay-TV programmer. But, unlike movie and series streaming platforms, it is not possible to rewind the broadcast to review a program segment, being offered only live viewing.

The platform allows you to mark programs as favorites and activate parental protection with access control validated by a PIN created by the user. The same Guigo TV account allows four people to watch different channels at the same time, with a limit of up to two people on the same channel.
Guigo TV has a basic plan, which costs R $ 20 per month and releases 25 channels, the majority of which are international or with variety programs from other countries in the world. Among the few most famous broadcasters in the basic package are Band, TV Cultura, CNN Brasil, Gazeta, ESPN Extra and Disney Junior.
If you want, the user can hire extra themed packages, which cost between R $ 8 and R $ 20 and are added monthly to the basic plan required to hire the base plan to be able to take advantage of the additional packages.
Currently, four extra packages are available: sports, with more channels ESPN and Esporte Interativo Plus; a children's one, with other Disney channels and TV R-Tim-Bum; a Televisa combo, with broadcasters broadcasting Mexican soap operas; and one geared to music and video clips.

The payment is made by means of a credit card, which must be registered in a form on the website itself, with the charge made monthly on the user's invoice. There is also the option of making payment through a bank slip. In this alternative, the balance is available in the user's account, and the subscription amount is debited from that amount. There is also the option of accumulating credits through a friend referral program.
Guigo TV allows any user to try the platform for free for seven days, without having to provide credit card data or other payment method when registering for the test.
The subscription must be made through the official website of Guigo TV (guigo.tv/home). The user must select the basic plan, which is mandatory, choose an extra package, if desired, and select the payment method of their preference. It is necessary to inform a validation code sent by SMS to the registered cell phone. After confirmation, the signal is released immediately.
Guigo TV does not have a loyalty contract, and the user can cancel the subscription at any time, without paying fines. The company guarantees that the user will be able to continue watching the channels until the end of the contracted period. The cancellation procedure must also be performed through the operator's official website.

Guigo TV broadcasts the channels in HD, but informs that the quality of the video adapts to the Internet speed of each user, being able to vary and present images with less definition. The company indicates that the subscriber uses a connection with at least 5 MB to achieve a better result.
