How about an “iPhone 8” with a transparent back? This concept shows exactly that

Let’s put it this way: officially, we still have no idea what the mythical and long-awaited “IPhone 8”. In September, we will show the cleanest face to Apple and pretend to be surprised when we see the final design of the device finally presented to the world, so as not to hurt our beloved Tim Cook. All of this, of course, officially.

Behind the scenes, everything indicates that we already know almost everything about the future king of Apple smartphones. So much so that designers around the world don’t even see the fun in reproducing their design in mockups – now, they are already leaving to create variations on top of the original design that we will see at the end of the year.

That’s exactly what the folks at CURVED / labs did: they took the (extremely) likely design of the “iPhone 8”, with its traffic light camera and everything, and simulated what it would look like with a fully transparent back cover, in the greatest technological style. from the late 1990s and the iMac G3 (and similar to a practice that the famous YouTube channel JerryRigEverything has already shown in some videos). Take a look at the result:

I understand perfectly that there are those who go crazy (positively, in this case) with this type of idea. I, however, did not like it very much for the simple fact that, as in any contemporary smartphone (or portable electronic device in general), the iPhone has much of its internal space occupied by a massive battery – that is, there is not so much for admire yourself inside. However, as we always say, I like it like an arm.

The front of the device imagined by our German colleagues follows all the rumors already published so far, with an OLED screen occupying the entire surface of the device and cropped only in its upper portion, in an area where the (numerous) sensors will be positioned of the next iPhone, as well as its front camera.

And do you agree with me that matte rears are even more elegant? I am waiting for the disagreements below.
