If you are using an earlier version, you can upgrade to the new version of Linux Mint.
Today (18) was the official release of Linux Mint 19.3, and as promised it was before Christmas. The full coverage you can check here. 
If you are using the versions 19.1 and 19.2, you can update to the new version, just follow a few steps to make everything happen as best as possible. The procedures are from the official Linux Mint blog, which you can check it out here. First they recommend that you take a snapshot with Timeshift, which is a backup tool for your system if something goes wrong.
Then they recommend that you disable the screensaver and if you have installed any Cinnamon add-ons (applets, desklets, extensions, themes), upgrade to System Profiler.
With these steps upgrading to version 19.3 is relatively easy. In the bottom bar, go to Update Manager and open it.
With the Manager open, you even go to Edit and click Upgrade to Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you are asked if you want to keep or replace the configuration files, choose to replace them.
Celluloid, gnote, drawing and neofetch applications were added in Linux Mint version 19.3, if at the time of version upgrade they are not installed, you can do it via terminal with a single command, which:
sudo apt install celluloid gnote drawing
After that, just enjoy the new version of Linux Mint.
