Exactly ten years ago, Apple launched a store that would arrive to change the computing world as a whole forever; now, with the anniversary of the first decade of App Store, several retrospectives on it are painting. First we saw this one from App Annie, and now the Sensor Tower arrives with a slightly different tactic.
The analyst firm decided to look at the store charts and, more precisely, at the applications that have spent some time, however, as champions of downloads or sales since July 1, 2010, which was when Sensor Tower started taking his measurements.
And look what is interesting: the survey showed that 30,000 (!) Different apps have already reached # 1 of the App Store charts (free or paid apps) in at least one country. Considering only the free apps, it is possible to see who stayed the longest on top of the mountain, with a victory guess what of the indefectible Whatsapp:

Finally, WhatsApp disappears completely (which is understandable, considering the messenger?s low popularity among Americans) and Messenger he becomes the undisputed leader and is mostly accompanied by games:
In the survey on paid apps, a winner emerged sovereign both globally and in the U.S. market: Minecraft.
Here, the gaming domain is beginning to appear more strongly in both scenarios.
Finally, we have the ranking of apps that have spent the most time leading the most profitable list on the App Store (ie those on which consumers spend the most money).
